Reel #10: Reflecting on Neurodiversity: Empowering Learning and Employment

Here we are!

The final episode of Neurodiversity: Empowering Learning and Employment, a collaboration between FE News’ Gavin O’Meara and Cognassist’s Dr Louise Karwowski…

As always, Gavin and Louise are on fine form – they’ve even got some official merch on the go.

This series has been a whistle-stop tour on some of the key conversations, issues and proactive steps around neuro-inclusion.

In Reel 10, your hosts take a look back at the series highlight and ask:

  • What was it about?
  • Why did we do it?
  • What were the reasons behind it?
  • What were the favourite bits?

Talking about neurodiversity means approaching things from a different perspective, and that’s exactly what Gavin and Louise have tried to do in this series.

Breaking down complex topics into the key tips and insights that educators and employers need to know about if they want to deliver on inclusivity.

And looking at ways of learning this information that help us to retain everything in the long-term.

The future is neuro-inclusive.

Yet, the journey we all take to get there will be different, so we need to be sharing information, being open about our experiences and asking questions…

In this spirit, Gavin and Louise are announcing a bonus Live episode next week:

Join Gavin and Louise on 27th July at 10am for a live Q&A with Louise to share experience and get your neuro-inclusion questions answered…

  • Empowering neuro-inclusive learning and employment means empowering people.
  • Empowering people to have positive and meaningful conversations.
  • Empowering people to seek out the support they deserve.
  • And empowering people to deliver that support confidently and instinctively.

We’re all learning and driving this future together.

Don’t get left behind…
