West Kent College Student Wins Apprentice of the Year at Sevenoaks Business Awards

West Kent College are proud to announce that Alex Bill, studying Level 3 Accounting, was announced as Apprentice of the Year at the Sevenoaks Town Partnership’s Annual Business Awards held on Friday 13th September.

The annual awards celebrate success in training & development and recognise national chain and independent retailers, new businesses and micro enterprises.

Nominees, sponsors and dignitaries enjoyed a black-tie ceremony held at Knole Academy, where they were regaled by guest speaker Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards.

Alex, finance apprentice at The Stag Theatre, was joint-winner with Jared Humphries, an engineering apprentice for FM Conway. They were presented with their awards by Cllr Margaret Crabtree of Kent County Council, sponsors of the award, and Cllr Nick Busvine OBE, Mayor of Sevenoaks.
