The Learning Foundry praised by Ofsted for improving the lives of their #apprentices and making #talent shine.

The Learning Foundry has been praised for delivering a bespoke curriculum that meets the priorities of both Liverpool and the wider North West region, as well as meeting the needs of apprentices, trainees and employers.

Ofsted inspectors were impressed with the fantastic opportunities offered to learners, with apprentices and trainees benefiting from a broad range of highly effective enrichment activities that allow them to explore personal, social and ethical issues. Two recent examples include trainee students sailing from Liverpool to Scotland during the tall ships events and housing apprentices going to France to research homelessness issues. Both activities allowed learners to develop skills that can be effectively transferred to a working environment.

Inspectors also commented on the work-related skills that learners develop, preparing CV’s and practising interview skills before meeting employers.

Trainees also benefit from meaningful work experience, growing in confidence as they prepare for employment.

The Learning Foundry offers a wide range of qualifications, developed in partnership with employers and partners and delivered by industry expert assessors.

In August this year, The Learning Foundry will move to a state-of-the-art, city centre location, perfectly placed to offer learners an exceptional learning experience close to everything Liverpool has to offer.
