Stone Group’s Cisco Meraki play scores first ever inclusion on Jisc HE Network Equipment Framework
Stone Group, the UK built, and owned VAR has been awarded a place on Lot 3 of the new Jisc HE Network Equipment Framework. Lot 3 is the Cisco Lot and sees Stone bring its expertise in Cisco Meraki Cloud Networking alongside four larger, more traditional Cisco partners.
The Jisc HE Network Equipment Framework allows Universities, specialist colleges and research organisations to procure solutions from providers expert in deploying large modern connectivity solutions, driving digital transformation and empowerment.
Paul Flack, head of solution sales at Stone Group, commented,
“Our focus on Cisco Meraki is a huge differentiator compared with the other vendor offerings on the Framework, and we are very proud of our inclusion. The Cisco Meraki cloud-based proposition is a strong consideration for HE institutions, especially for those that have multi-site, geographically dispersed buildings, or those looking to reduce the time and overheads associated with the management of legacy systems. We hold the highest level of partnership accreditation possible with Cisco Meraki, indicating the strength of our offering. With 14 certified engineers to support customers across the UK and a network operations centre optimised to support our modern cloud-based solutions, we can provide a unique, highly responsive service to Jisc members”.
Stone Group’s inclusion on the Jisc Framework follows on the heels of recent successes with places secured on the RM3808 Public Sector Network Services 2 and RM6103 Education Technology Frameworks.
Stone Group CEO Simon Harbridge commented
“We have had a great year so far with all our verticals across Public Sector and Education, and Private Sector adding net new customers and selling additional lines of business, driving growth in both overall revenue and revenue from solutions and services. We are close to achieving our internal target of posting £100 million for 2019, which would be annual growth of 25%. Our successes on these additional solutions Frameworks are built on several years of hard work expanding our expertise in our chosen technologies and working with our partner vendors to bring the very latest and greatest technologies to all our customers. They evidence the quality and strength of the solutions we are building, and I am very proud of the great team we have here at Stone making this happen”.
