Shortlist for Asian Apprenticeship Awards
The judges have done their work and the shortlisting for the 2017 Asian Apprenticeship Awards is complete.
Celebrating the best of British Asian apprentices and the people who employ them, the second Asian Apprenticeship Awards take place at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Thursday, November 2.
There are categories for apprentices, employers and an ‘other awards’ section.
“It is amazing how the awards have caught the imagination of apprentices and employers,” said Safaraz Ali, managing director of The Pathway Group and founder of the awards.
British Asians are under-represented when it comes to apprenticeship training and an important objective of the awards is to encourage more young people from that community to consider taking up apprentice training.
