Details
This publication sets out requirements for awarding organisations to provide data about GCSEs, A levels and AS levels to Ofqual. It also sets out the procedures you should follow when submitting data.
Reporting deadlines
Please read the attached ‘November 2018 data exchange procedures’ document for full details of reporting requirements, the dates below are just highlights of final deadlines.

- Summary text gave an incorrect submission date for GCSE English and English language. This has now been fixed.
- Updated for November 2016 data exchange.
- On page 4 of the ‘Summer 2016 Data Exchange Procedures’ we changed the reference year for legacy AS to 2015 rather than the average of 2011/2012. This is to provide a meaningful comparison with the 2016 cohort, given that students in 2011 and 2012 had the opportunity to enter units and certificate in January. This change has the support of all exam boards.
