New research has revealed the best universities in the UK for creative students. 

For those thinking about choosing a creative course, there are plenty of fantastic universities with inspiring and challenging courses to choose from, but which institution is the best for creatives?

Inkifi has analysed universities and higher education institutions around the UK, to rank them in terms of their suitability for creative students based on a number of factors.

• With course options in fashion, performing arts, design and more, there are plenty of options for creative students, the University for the Creative Arts is the top institution for creative courses. Notable alumni include the controversial artist, Tracey Emin, fashion designer, Karen Millen, and jewellery designer, Stephen Webster.

• In second place, with notable alumni including critically acclaimed photographer, Wolfgang Tillmans, The Arts University Bournemouth scores particularly well for graduate outcomes, with an average graduate salary of £21,000 for those on creative courses.

• Based just around the corner from London’s West End, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, is known all over the world for its performance and theatre courses. The list of notable alumni is extensive with some of the finest names in British TV and film such as Dame Judi Dench, Laurence Olivier, Vanessa Redgrave, Kit Harrington, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and many more.
