Major £1.1 million investment unveiled by The Hart School
The Hart School in Rugeley (@thehartschool) has revealed it has completed a major investment programme worth over £1 million to improve its offer to pupils.
The exciting news comes as the Creative Education Trust school announced that the latest phase of its ambitious upgrade plan had seen £650k spent on further improving buildings and facilities over the last few months.
It follows last year’s previous investment of £450k – bringing the total to £1.1 million.
New ICT suites, classrooms and state-of-the-art science labs amongst improvements
The most recent round of improvements include a complete refurbishment of the main hall with new floor, new lighting and retractable bleacher seating for 250 people, three new ICT suites, three additional classrooms, and new state-of-the-art science labs.
It’s also seen 33 classrooms decorated and refurbished with new LED lighting and furniture; new dining hall furniture; the 6th Form common room refurbished; polymeric resurfacing of its outdoor sport courts and additional changing rooms; an additional lunch serving facility and a 50k investment in improving the ICT facilities for students.
Last year’s £450k investment at the Penkridge Bank School included a refurbished gym and library, and the installation of an all year around leisure dome.
