MA in Luxury Brand Management programme launched by The American University in Richmond

Richmond, The American International University in London is delighted to announce a new MA programme in Luxury Brand Management in partnership with Condé Nast College.  It’s a new initiative which will enable students develop the management, marketing and entrepreneurial skills to explore an exciting career in luxury goods, services and fashion brand management.

The University is inviting applications from students to commence the course from August 2018, with a one year full time or two years part-time programme taught at the University’s Kensington campus.

Nastaran Norouzi Richards-Carpenter, Associate Professor of Marketing for the American University in Richmond and Programme Director for the new MA, said,  “We’re really thrilled to offer this course in association with Condé Nast College.

“A huge amount of input has gone into the design of the course to ensure it will encompass luxury brand management in all of its aspects.  It’s a unique programme which will enhance students’ commercial skills and entrepreneurial talent while developing their business acumen, analytical thinking and leadership skills.”

Capturing the insights of industry experts, the course will focus on emerging trends in luxury brands, including marketing strategy and management case studies, all delivered in an interactive classroom environment. Students will be offered the chance to visit luxury brand headquarters and fashion houses in London as well as having internship opportunities with various luxury brands.

Inspirational lectures from notable alumni and luxury brand industry professionals will be provided, who have worked exclusively for various luxury brands including Purdey, Aquascutum, Tiffany, Ede and Ravenscroft.

Condé Nast College offers a number of exciting initiatives for students, who can attend industry talks at the College whose past speakers have included Victoria Beckham and Tory Burch.  Students will also have access to the Condé Nast College library, which includes British, American and Italian Vogue archives.

The partnership with Condé Nast College provides students with additional study material, accessible through their network of affiliate publications such as Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, Tatler, Brides, Vanity Fair, and GQ.
