Leading national, Abingdon based, training provider celebrates students and employer success with Gold Olympian Medallist
Qube Learning, leading training provider, hosted a unique online award ceremony last night to applaud its hardworking trainees, apprentices, job seekers and employees who have showed passion and commitment to find their own professional personal paths to success against all odds.
The inspiring occasion was compered by the famous Gold Medallist and World Record Holder, Colin Jackson CBE, who said “It was such an honour to handout the awards to such inspiring individuals. They have shown motivation and drive, and really deserves the honours. With so many incredible stories on the night, I really do champion traineeships and apprenticeships as a credible and rewarding route in further education in a less conventional way. The programmes help create opportunities that carve out positive futures for people that never thought it possible. Dreams really can become reality with the right guidance and mentoring, and Qube Learning certainly cares for its students and the employers who employ them.”
Broadcast on the Qube Learning YouTube channel from 20:15 – 21:00 on Wednesday 16th September 2020, in line with government advice and guidance regarding the current pandemic, the ceremony was moved from a venue based occasion to online to ensure the safety of guests, host and staff, whilst still celebrating the success of Qube Learning’s students and employers. This did not dampen the spirits of guests as they waited with anticipation to find out who had won! With over ten awards to announce, the emotional evening revealed the skills, commitment and drive of those who had seen their lives change with the support of Qube, employers, family and friends. And, employers were recognised for their hard work in supporting students.
