Jackson Parsons, Maya Jama, Spencer Owen and Chlecee Grimes join BT Work Ready Live event to help young job seekers

Jack Parsons, CEO of The Youth Group and also known as the UK’s Chief Youth Officer confirms to join a special live event on Monday to help young people who may have just left FE college to get inspiration and tips on how to get into work. 

 

The event is hosted by football and Esports presenter Spencer Owen and with guests including TV and radio presenter Maya Jama, young entrepreneur Jack Parsons, TV presenter Chelcee Grimes and the CEO of BT’s consumer division Marc Allera.

With young people having been particularly hard hit by the current unemployment crisis and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on work opportunities, BT is launching the event to inspire and help young people to secure a job and kick-start their careers.

It was streamed live on the BT’s YouTube page on 3 August.

Jack commented: “We all have an important role to play when it comes to supporting young people into work. Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about this and have been helping young people into work over the last 5 years but more needs to be done so I am looking forward to improving the odds for young people with BT with this super youthful event”
