There’s still time to join Barnsley College Higher Education (HE) and start your university level study this September.
The College offers a range of courses in the creative industries and degree level study in Fine Art, Games Design and Popular Music.
Within the Barnsley College Church Street campus the creative facilities include personal art studio space for each student, ceramics, woodwork and printmaking workshops, Mac suites equipped with industry standard game and music software and recording studios that can be used for students’ coursework as well as personal music ventures. Students are also able to use the facilities available across the whole of the College, including a 180-seat theatre venue, broadcasting radio station and industry standard film and TV and music recording and editing studios.

BA (Hons) Popular Music student Craig O’Connor added:
“I wanted to get into teaching and had heard good things about Barnsley College Higher Education. I’ve always been into music and so knew that was the right route for me. I kept putting off coming back to education as I was worried about being older than everyone but you really shouldn’t let this hold you back as it doesn’t make a difference to the learning, teaching and opportunities you get.”
