Institute of Student Employers announces high profile line-up of speakers
The Institute of Student Employers (ISE) has revealed the headline speakers for its Annual Student Recruitment Conference and Awards taking place on 8 and 9 July 2019.
The Institute’s flagship event will feature a motivational session from record-breaking round the world cyclist and TV broadcaster Mark Beaumont. Celebrated author of The Mother Of All Jobs, Christine Armstrong will share what she’s learned about combining both work and life.
Plenary speakers also include Hashi Mohamed, a Barrister at No5 Chambers and BBC broadcaster who will discuss social mobility and the role of employers while Bobby Duffy, Director of the Policy Institute at King’s College London, will explore the myths and realities of the millennial generation.
The conference also offers a series of seminars and opportunities to network as well as a student recruitment-focused exhibition from a range of industry suppliers.
The two-day event will come to a close with the annual Gala Awards Dinner, recognising the best in student recruitment and development. One of the country’s finest comedians Shappi Khorsandi will host the evening.
Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive of the ISE said:
“This is our most prestigious event of the year so it’s fantastic to have such an inspiring array of speakers to look forward to. Supporting the keynote sessions will be a selection of more intimate seminars and we’ll be bringing together employers and universities for valuable networking opportunities.”
