Henley College Pathways Students get accepted at Foxes Academy

Pathways student, Rachael Bellamy who has been offered and accepted a placement at Foxes Academy, Minehead, Somerset.

Rachael will be starting a 3-year residential course in September and will be working towards her City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 Certificate in Hospitality Services and the Food Safety Award. She will also undertake Foxes’ bespoke Pathway to Life – Independent Living Skills course.

Foxes Academy is based in Minehead and is an “Outstanding” specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities.

Whilst at college, Rachael worked towards her employability skills completing work experience placements at d:two community café, Toad Hall Garden Centre and Oxfam Books and Music Shop in Henley. She gained qualifications in Functional Skills ICT Entry 3 and Numeracy Entry 2
