HEC Paris announces Partnership with the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society

HEC Paris Business School has been named as an Institutional Partner of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, the world’s leading platform for bringing female voices to the forefront of major global social and economic issues.

The partnership was announced ahead of the organization’s upcoming Singapore Women’s Forum, the first-ever event to foster women’s leadership for social progress and economic impact in the growing economy of Singapore and the region.

Running from 12th – 14th September, the conference’s theme “Bridging worlds for inclusive innovation”, will address how countries, economies and organizations can work together to ensure innovations born out of new technological advancements, sustainability efforts and economic prosperity can be leveraged to better support the world’s poorest regions and individuals.

To mark the school’s affiliation with the Forum, two guest speakers from HEC Paris have been invited to attend.

Evelyne Kuoh, President of the HEC Paris women’s professional development network HEC au Féminin, and Jean-Philippe Caude, an alumnus and President of executive search consultancy Caude Management, will each address an audience of over 1000 influential business, institutional and political leaders from ASEAN countries, as well as across Europe, China, India and beyond.

Other speakers include the Ambassador to the Embassy of France for Singapore, delegates from the United Nations, CEOs and senior professionals of world-leading organizations, charities and socially focused ventures, and faculties of other leading global business schools.

Inge Kerkloh-Devif, Executive Director at HEC Paris, says,

“We envision a world in which men and women have equal representation, impact and influence, and we foster a community that nurtures gender equality. We promote gender diversity on campus and in the business world by inspiring the next generation of male and female leaders to challenge social constructs around gender roles and to work to change gender relations.”

Following the Singapore event, HEC Paris’ partnership with the Forum will extend to the upcoming Paris Forum, continuing these discussions, which will be held on 14th – 16th November.

Further information on Singapore Women’s Forum, speakers and sessions can be found on the organization’s website.
