“This is a one-off opportunity for students in this age group to access funded training of this kind. These courses are a welcome addition to the package of funded provision we are currently offering to students of all ages who are seeking employment in a very challenging socio-economic climate.
“We are supporting employers to access funding of up to £2,000 for taking on new apprenticeships, and our Sector Work Academy Programmes offer a competitive edge to job seekers in the form of valuable knowledge, skills, links to employers and employment.
“All of these courses are currently in high demand against the backdrop of a job market which is expected to become extremely competitive due to the economic pressures of the Coronavirus pandemic.”
