FE Choices employer satisfaction survey: 2018 to 2019

The employer satisfaction survey details employers’ experiences of their training.

According to our feedback, things providers are doing well are:

• The location of the training provision is convenient
• The professionalism of Apprenticeship staff
• Training successfully prepares employees for their job roles

Education Minister, Michelle Donelan, said:

“It is great news that the vast majority of employers are pleased with the quality of their training provider and would also recommend them to another employer. It is testament to the hard work of our providers and the overall quality of the apprenticeships on offer that this continues to be the case.

“High quality training is vital to make sure apprentices and business benefit from our apprenticeships reform. We will continue to work closely with employers to make sure they can access the training they need to  develop the skills they need for the future.”

Details

The survey brings together employers’ perceptions on:

• the quality of the training provided
• the responsiveness of their college or training organisation to the employer’s needs

The scores calculated for each college or training organisation allow for performance comparisons to be made against:

• other colleges and training organisations of the same organisation type
• all the colleges and training organisations which completed the survey and passed the necessary quality thresholds
