Sport lecturers at Edinburgh’s Telford College are offering businesses the chance to take part in a team-building challenge with a difference – a treasure hunt around some of the Capital’s most famous landmarks.
Kicking off at Edinburgh Castle, participants are split into two teams which each receive clues directing them to well-known focal points on or around the Royal Mile in a quest to win the ‘treasure’. Delivered by Telford’s Sport Lecturers Dave Cavers and Chris Rennie, the Adventure Challenge Scotland Treasure Hunt can be tailored to meet the needs of businesses and, as well as being a fun day out, can help develop the fitness and teamwork skills of staff.
A staff member of Centrica (Scottish Gas) commented after their experience on an Adventure Challenge day: “Staff were very good, helpful and knowledgeable. The day was excellent, it could not have been better. I got to work with and create a bond with a colleague that I haven’t seen eye to eye with in the past. This will definitely help me in the future.”
Dave Cavers, Sports Lecturer at Edinburgh’s Telford College, said: “We make each Adventure Challenge as exciting and challenging as possible. It’s a great way for staff to get to know each other and have fun around some of Edinburgh’s most recognised landmarks.”
