Creative future on the cards at Bradford College
Bradford College and leading greetings card publisher, Hallmark, have teamed up for a deal that will benefit creative students.
The two organisations have agreed a partnership that has seen Hallmark set up a creative studio called the ‘Greenhouse’ within the college and run workshops for students helping to develop their knowledge and design skills through working with experienced Hallmark designers.
The agreement, which is initially for two years, provides Hallmark with an optional workspace for their creative staff. They will be based in the Greenhouse studio in the college’s Lister Building, which is home to its Bradford School of Art.
Hallmark staff will be able to access the college’s art facilities and equipment for regular technical workshops while their presence is set to inspire and encourage students who will get the chance to work with and learn from the professionals.
Among Hallmark’s world renowned creative team are numerous graduates of Bradford School of Art.
As part of the deal, Hallmark are also sponsoring The Dye House Gallery, the college’s art gallery that is open to the public.

“The Green House will give our designers a brilliant space to be creative and explore new print and design techniques which is very much at the heart of what the Hallmark brand stands for.”
Hallmark has one of the country’s leading design studios, employing more than 70 designers, editors, calligraphers illustrators and photographers in its Bradford based UK headquarters.
To launch the partnership an exhibition of artwork produced by Hallmark’s own artists was shown in the Dye House Gallery.
