Course completion gives Holly a confidence boost

Holly Watson has just completed her SVQ in Early Education and Childcare with @BordersCollege – A great achievement, Holly talks about how, through the support of her peers and tutors, her confidence has grown throughout. Read her story below:

Despite the current pressures, I have been able to complete my SVQ in Early Education and Childcare. Throughout my SVQ I have recognised that my confidence has grown massively.

My confidence has also helped me improve hugely when talking and interacting with children and parents. Communicating with children and parents has also improved my confidence outside of my workplace.

I have had lots of support from everyone involved in my Modern Apprenticeship, especially from my assessor and colleagues. My skills and knowledge have also improved in the time I have completed my SVQ.

I was able to improve in this area due to the support from staff at the CPD Centre, the staff at Borders College and staff from my work setting.
