Colleges triumph at the Edurank Awards 2018
Over twenty institutions across the globe have been recognised for their social media performance at this year’s Edurank Awards – the only awards that use empirical data in the education sector.
While the Edurank team crunched data (to identify institutions that excelled in creating engaging content and increased their followers), a panel of judges put their heads together to pick the winners of the four new nominated categories.
Over 100 institutions nominated themselves for the four new categories: Best Social Media Campaign, Best News Coverage, Best Creative and Best Use of User Generated Content. After being inundated with entries, our panel of judges determined the four winners and a further six institutions who were awarded Highly Commended.
SEDA College was the biggest winner in the FE sector, the institution picked up Edurank’s Social Media Performance of the Year (College Category). FE winners this year included: Loughborough College, Ayrshire College and the English National Ballet School. Click here to see the full winners list.
Katherine Nicholls, Head of Natives Global Consulting and an Edurank judge thinks the awards are really important for those working in education marketing:
“The Edurank Awards is an excellent opportunity to give education marketers praise, and recognition, for all their hard work over the past year. It was brilliant to see the effort which had gone into the various submissions. The standard was really high, and it was so great to see how much planning and research goes into an institutions social media strategy. I’m looking forward to seeing what people have in store for the remainder of 2018.”
