Collab Group partnership for NAW2021
Collab Group (@collabgrp) agrees apprenticeship partnership with Mitie (@mitie)
The Collab Group is delighted to announce a new partnership with Mitie to deliver technical apprenticeships nationwide. Mitie is a leading facilities management and professional services company operating across the UK.
The agreement encompasses a new managed service model for the delivery of apprenticeships. The model provides Mitie with an efficient and streamlined mechanism to manage their apprenticeship provision across the Collab Group college network. As part of the agreement, Collab Group colleges will deliver a range of technical apprenticeship standards in areas that include plumbing, electrical, maintenance and operations, engineering, and project management. The apprenticeships will target both new entrants into the workforce as well as existing staff.
We are especially pleased to be making this announcement during National Apprenticeship Week as we celebrate the amazing contribution that apprentices make to businesses across the country.
This partnership represents a great opportunity for Collab Group to advise Mitie on how to maximise the use of their apprenticeship while strengthening the capabilities of their workforce. We look forward to working in collaboration to create new and exciting opportunities for learners to gain new skills and enhance their career prospects.

“We are delighted to establish this partnership with Mitie to coordinate high-quality apprenticeship opportunities across the UK. We are confident that our network of large, further education colleges is uniquely placed to help Mitie develop the skills of their people across a range of technical and professional business areas. Apprenticeships will play a key role in boosting opportunity across the UK, and we look forward to working closely together.”
Zoe McKoen Apprenticeship Programme Manager at Mitie said:
“We are excited to partner with Collab to deliver our Technical apprenticeships. The partnership will help us to be able to provide more apprenticeship programmes nationwide including remote areas of the UK. Having all our Technical programmes under Collab’s colleges will allow us to be closer to our learners by streamlining our reporting into one system. We will know exactly where everyone is on programme and be able to provide additional support as and when they need it.”
