Babington Group Make Top 3 National Training Providers
Babington Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing national training providers, is proud to announce it won the top training provider title for the East Midlands at last nights ‘Times Best Companies Awards’ in London. Babington also made the top 3 overall – a brilliant achievement for the Derby based provider who are officially one of The ‘Best 100 Companies to Work For’. The lists have been published since 2001 and hundreds of organisations take part each year. The awards celebrate the ‘best of the best’ in various categories and are a sought after award for companies.
Carole Carson, CEO, Babington Group: “Winning the Times award and being recognised as not only the best provider in the East Midlands but 3rd overall is another significant step in our journey to be ‘Simply the Best’. We want to ensure Babington continues to be a fantastic place to work— it is a wonderful endorsement and reward for all the hard work and dedication of our colleagues nationwide. Awards such as this ensure we attract the very best calibre of new recruits, that in return deliver the highest possible levels for our learners, employers and partners.”
A full list of winners can be found here, on the Best Companies website.
The award win follows Babington being awarded Best Companies accreditation for the fifth consecutive year, reconfirming continuous immense levels of dedication and engagement from employees within the organisation. Best Companies is widely recognised as the most academically rigorous measure of work placement engagement and is based on data rather than opinion or theory. Babington Group have not only continued to maintain a 1 Star rating as a ‘Very Good Company’ but increased their overall score.
Accreditation tells your clients, partners, investors and employees that your organisation understands the importance of workplace engagement and genuinely values its people. Babington Group is just one of 190 companies in the UK to gain 1 star accreditation this year.
To gain this prestigious accreditation, Babington’s 380 employees were offered the chance to fill in a ‘b-heard’ survey, which included questions based on ‘8 factors of workplace engagement’. This was then followed by an analysis of the results, which delves deeper than statistics, to create a picture of how Babington employees really feel. The BCI score was high enough to be accredited 1 Star: this is a significant achievement that shows an organisation is taking workplace engagement seriously.
Babington are passionate about demonstrating the significance of workplace engagement and provide guidance and support to help others achieve it too. A prime example of this, is Babington’s leadership and management programmes from the Chartered Management Institute, helping staff develop engaging leadership strategies which contribute towards high team performance.
