Applications for cohort two of New to Senior Leadership programme open

Applications can now be made to be part of cohort two of the @E_T_Foundation’s New to Senior Leadership programme, which will begin in January 2021.

The programme is aimed at those in the Further Education and Training sector who are new to their senior leadership post or who would like the opportunity to take part in leadership development for their role. It is underpinned by the FE Leadership Excellence Framework and the ETF Model for Professional Learning and Development, and addresses themes including relationship management, strategic decision making, negotiation and corporate responsibility.

The programme is delivered on behalf of the ETF by the Birmingham Leadership Institute at the University of Birmingham. Applicants must complete the detailed application form, having already obtained support from an organisational sponsor and identified a work-based project or focus for application of the learning. Applications will be reviewed before candidates are accepted onto the programme.

The programme is the most recent addition to the ETF’s range of support for leadership, which also includes programmes for current and aspiring Principals/CEOs, Chief Financial Officers, middle leaders, Chairs of Boards and Governors. Further details are available via the ETF Leadership Hub.
