Ryan Leong Wei Ren wins 1st prize at the Entrepreneurs Institute Marketing 5.0 Microschool

Entrepreneurs Institute, a leading entrepreneur education company founded by social entrepreneur and futurist Roger James Hamilton,  is delighted to announce that the winner of its Marketing 5.0 Microschool is Ryan Nicholas Leong, a 28-year-old Singaporean startup entrepreneur who first joined GeniusU in 2021. Over 250 students participated in this very first course which was hosted through GeniusU.

The Marketing 5.0 Microschool is a two-week course which addresses the challenges of technological transformation that is occurring on a nearly daily basis. A live and interactive Microschool, it introduces students to a panel of experts who guide them through what’s hot and what’s not, allowing them to grow their prospects. It not only brings the latest in technology and trends but gives practical support and mentorship as students create a fully functioning customer acquisition pathway.

The Microschool mentors are proven experts in their field and have hands-on experience in running multi-million-dollar digital promotions in their own business and so are very well placed to ensure that students leave with their marketing strategy already in place.

Michelle Clarke, CEO of Entrepreneurs Institute, shares that “Ryan demonstrated in both his participation and presentation a business model that is inspiring, creative, credible and definitely captivating. Combining education, entrepreneurship and the metaverse! He is a well-deserved winner.”

Ryan, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, is a Design Thinking Specialist, Educator and Founder of Worldbuilding Adventurers Academy (WAA). He has mentored hundreds of children and young adults about design thinking, creative confidence and new ways of going beyond the conventional. He hopes to empower others to create powerful ideas with compelling stories, so they can experience their ‘joy of living’.

In response to winning the award, a fully-funded scholarship to the Crystal Circle twelve months mentoring programme and the full suite of Entrepreneurs Institute Microschools in 2022, Ryan shares: “I want to thank everyone for giving me the learnings I received during this live intensive two-week programme, particularly the mentors – it has been an enlightening experience.

Receiving runner-up awards were Australian Karen Bonanno, Director of EduWebinar, and Louise Mosley, the British Founder of NB Coaching, they each receive free access to the full suite of Entrepreneurs Institute Microschools in 2022.
