EPAO celebrates Best New Business win

1st for EPA is celebrating after being crowned Best New Business at the Tees New Business Awards 2022. 

The end point assessment organisation (EPAO) won two awards at the prestigious Tees New Business Awards 2022, Best New Services Business and the main award of the evening, Best New Business. 

Managing Director Helen Shinner said, “The awards evening gave us time to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come and everything we’ve achieved in the last 3 years. 

From a brand new business, to now working with thousands of apprentices and over 1000 employers and training providers nationwide. This includes numerous household names, such as The Trainline, JD Group and Poundland. 

We have great feedback on our service, our guidance and how friendly our assessors are, putting apprentices at ease when they need it most. And a 98% first-time pass rate, showing we are that last piece of the journey that supports apprentices to complete. 

It’s not often we blow our own trumpet, but if ever there was a good time, it’s now. 

We’d like to say a huge thank you to every apprentice, provider, employer and colleague who has supported us along the way. We’re so pleased that we make a difference to you, and we promise to keep making EPA easy for years to come.”
