Coventry University launches International Pathways Programme
International students looking for better futures are being given a helping hand thanks to Coventry University (@covcampus).
Coventry University’s new International Pathways Programme (IPP) is all about giving students the skills they need to study at Coventry University or Coventry University London.
And students enrolling for January 2022 can currently apply for an International Pathways Scholarship offering financial support worth £3,000, if they pay their deposit by 17th December.
The scholarship can help with tuition fees, living expenses and accommodation.
Coventry University’s IPP sets itself apart by featuring three intakes a year to maximise flexibility to accommodate academic completion periods in various countries. This gives the added benefit of reducing a student’s waiting time to enrol or giving them more time to decide next steps.
More than 13,000 international students from 160 different countries studied at Coventry University last year and it is ranked as one of the top 30 in the world for international students in the 2022 QS World University Ranking table.
The integrated one-year courses are created to bridge the entry requirement gap for international study in the UK and offer a smooth progression into a student’s preferred degree.
The programme gives students peace of mind that they will be able to progress onto university degree study if they gain the pass grades, without making a separate degree application. This also offers the added benefit of a single visa application for the entire duration of their UK studies with Coventry.
Three International Pathway routes are directly available through Coventry University, designed to meet the needs of students dependent upon their senior secondary education qualifications, English language ability and study and research skills for those pursuing master’s studies.
Professor John Latham CBE, Coventry University Vice-Chancellor, said:
“We have a huge appeal to students from across the globe and International Pathways plays a key role in giving learners the opportunity to develop the skills needed to study with us.
“There are fantastic advantages to students taking part in International Pathways and the scheme provides reassurance to international students who aspire to join Coventry University, provided they reach the pass grades.
“We’re passionate that the high standard of education available at Coventry University is widely accessible and Pathways gives learners confidence to pursue a bright future through studying with us.”
Help for international students is provided by Coventry University’s International Student Support Team, who can offer assistance with issues such as finance, visas and immigration.
