Veritas Primary Academy Adopts Google and HP Chromebooks to Support Outstanding Teaching and Learning
Veritas Primary Academy in Staffordshire, part of the Reach2 Academy Trust, has seamlessly moved to the leading Google G-Suite for Education platform to enrich learning for its pupils and to save teachers valuable time.
Google G-Suite for Education is now used by more than 80 million educators globally making it the leading learning technology in the world. Google G-Suite enables teachers to better support young people in developing collaboration skills as well as providing better differentiation in teaching tailored to individual needs and learning styles.
The technology enables pupils to learn independently on any device creating a seamless learning environment between School and home, as well as reducing workloads and saving money for the Academy.
The decision was also taken to deploy Chromebooks within the Academy to save time, money and enable new teaching methods.
Headteacher Angela Didier said:
“We are thrilled to be able to provide the learners at Veritas Primary Academy with the best learning tools available to support their education. We have an ambition to deliver outstanding education that enriches and inspires young people to lead happy and productive lives. Working closely with the team at C-Learning we are thrilled to be using the best education technology available to deliver our vision.”
Chair of the Board of Governors at Veritas Primary Academy Jan Gormley said:
“The whole team at Veritas Primary Academy are committed to providing the children with the best possible learning experience that contextualises learning, enabling young people to develop the skills, attitudes and behaviours that the world needs. The HP Chromebooks in particular will enable the children to learn in new ways, untethering learning spaces from computers that used to be fixed to a wall and supporting collaborative group work. The children, and teachers, love them”.
Jamie Smith, Executive Chairman of Google Premier Education Partner C-Learning said:
“It’s great to see Veritas Primary Academy investing in world leading technology that’s simple to use, saves money and makes life better for everyone in the Academy. As the Chair of the Board of an outstanding School myself I am passionate about Schools and Colleges nurturing the collaborative and natural leadership skills that the business world needs enabled by the right technology, along with a lifelong love of learning. Flexible, cost effective cloud first technology is the future and Veritas joins a rapidly growing number of leading education institutions globally preparing their children for the reality of the world of work as it is now and into the future, and that’s why more than three million of the world’s leading businesses are using the same technology as the children at Veritas Academy”.
Veritas Primary Academy has deployed the full range of Google G-Suite applications including Google Classroom, a solution that provides a digital classroom on any device in any location and used by millions of teachers globally.
Chromebooks provide a reliable, effective, simple and secure alternative computing device when compared to more expensive laptop and desktop technologies that have become increasingly costly and unreliable for Schools and Colleges to maintain.
Chromebooks are perfect for busy teaching staff who just need to know that the technology will work and support learning in the way it should with no disruption to the teaching process.
C-Learning is one of only three UK based Google Premier Education Partners with a client base spread across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company is a leading provider of Chromebooks and Google technology such as Jamboards, bespoke software, training and consultancy services to education.
