Who we need

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Wellbeing Mentor to progress within the Wellbeing team. The right candidate will be passionate around the wellbeing and safeguarding of our students and understand the importance of the wellbeing of our colleagues.

This will be your first step into supervising, you will lead a team of approximately 12 colleagues across 2 sites. You will be responsible for developing the role of the Wellbeing Mentors supported by the Wellbeing Mentor Senior Lead.

With this role, will also come the opportunity to develop as an emerging leader, through the college’s internal leadership programmes. The duties of the role include:

Supporting the coordinator with the operational aspects of the role and ensuring the appropriate funding is being generate
Hold weekly team meetings and monthly one to one reviews
Undertake professional development reviews for the Wellbeing mentors
Assist with strategic planning of student support moving forward
Supporting your team to provide effective support for students, parents/carers and tutors.
Work with DSO & FRO’s at the College to supporting in identifying and dealing with safeguarding and Prevent concerns and referrals and liaising internally and externally to provide the necessary support to students and staff.
Deliver on key performance indicators across the College, aiming to deliver continuous improvement
Interviews / Assessments are planned for: Week commencing 5th August 2024
