We have some exciting Tutor/Trainer opportunities starting in Spring 2025!
Tutor openings for the following vocations include;
– Warehouse and Storage Tutor
– Hospitality & Catering Tutor
– RTITB Forklift Instructor Tutor
– Horticulture Tutor
Location: Newmarket – Centre based
Salary: £27,000 (inc uplift) for 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)
Type: 4 days per week, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
– Ideally hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification OR an Assessors Award – if you do not hold either, you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of internal training within your role and be willing to work towards a Teaching/Training qualifications provided by the company.
– Must hold a min NVQ level 2 (or equiv/higher) in your specialist vocation
– (for the RTITB role you must hold a full RTITB FLT Instructor Licence)
– Experience of delivering training in a workshop / group-based setting – or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Duties:
– Teach/assess learners in a classroom based setting, who are working towards a vocational qualifications within their chosen field.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
– Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
– Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
– Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
– Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
