We are currently looking for both qualified and unqualified tutors with substantial industry experience to join their team and deliver top-notch instruction in the telecommunications sector.

Position Overview:

This role offers a unique chance to teach the BTEC Level 2/3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals. As a Telecoms Tutor, you will be instrumental in preparing the next generation of telecommunications experts by providing engaging and impactful lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning: Organize and manage your teaching schedule, making effective use of available resources and facilities.
Curriculum Development: Work with academic colleagues to design and enhance course modules, suggesting improvements as needed.
Engaging Instruction: Develop and deliver compelling teaching materials using diverse and effective methods.
Student Support: Foster an interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and supports student growth.
Guidance: Assist students with their projects and assignments, providing necessary support and direction.
Assessment: Evaluate and grade exams and assignments, offering constructive feedback to guide student progress.
Assignment Management: Set and review coursework, ensuring alignment with the course objectives and learning outcomes.
Compliance: Follow Health and Safety, disability, equality, and welfare guidelines, reporting any issues that arise.
Collaboration: Coordinate with academic staff to ensure that student needs and expectations are met and exceeded.

Qualifications and Experience:

Telecommunications Qualification: Hold a Level 3 qualification in Telecommunications.
Teaching Experience: Possess a teaching or assessor qualification, or have extensive professional experience in telecommunications.
Classroom Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching in a classroom environment.
Academic Knowledge: Understanding of academic policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
