Here at Merton College, we are seeking to increase our Part Time Sessional Teacher pool and invite skilled and experienced professionals to teach adult learners across different levels on both accredited and non-accredited courses. We are specifically looking for;
Health & Social Care Teacher / Assessor – Accredited & non-accredited courses up to Level 2/3
Supporting Teaching & Learning Teacher / Assessor – Accredited & non-accredited courses for Teaching Assistants up to Level 2
Green Skills Teacher / Assessor – Accredited & non-accredited courses up to Level 2
Employability Teacher – Non-accredited courses on topics such as CV writing, job search, interview skills etc.
All roles require successful teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification or substantial relevant professional experience, with a sound knowledge of the subject to be taught. You will be able to plan lessons and use a range of techniques appropriate to learners from diverse educational backgrounds, including adult learners.

An Assessor qualification is essential (except for the Employability Teacher). Candidates for the Green Skills Teacher / Assessor and the Employability Teacher must also be willing to teach in outreach settings in Merton, as well as in College.
