Job Title: Residential Childcare Tutor (Level 3 or 5)
Opportunities to deliver at Level 3 or Level 5.
Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel
Salary: £28,500 – £32,000 (Depending on experience) + fantastic benefits package
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
– Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
– Hold a recognised qualification in Residential Childcare at Level 3 or above.
– Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
– Must hold solid occupational competency at Senior level or above within a Children’s Home.
– Ideally hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
– Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
– Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships Level 3-5 (depending on competency)
– Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
– Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
