Job Title: Residential Childcare Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel
Salary:
– Trainee candidates: Starting salary of £26,500 + bonus potential!
– Qualified candidates: Salary up to £32,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus potential!

Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
– Must hold solid, occupational experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a Residential Children’s Home.
– Experience of delivering staff training would be highly desirable.
– Ideally be a qualified and experienced Assessor of Apprenticeships in Children & Young People Families Practitioner / Residential Childcare – though this is not essential, as our client can train you up!
– Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
– Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
– Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
– Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
