Job Title: Refrigeration Trainer

Location: Centre and field based delivery

Salary: up to £55,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

– Develop and deliver theoretical and practical training sessions for L2 and L3 Diplomas in Refrigeration, Heat Pump and Air Conditioning to Apprentices in a group/classroom setting.
– Visiting Apprentices out in the field to carry out learning audits and evaluations
– Assist learners in preparing for F-Gas Assessment and EPA
– Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme, ensuring learners are progressing within expectations
– Carry out and Initial Assessments and regular progress reviews; feeding back progress to managers and learners.
– Maintain class register and online learning, review and assessment trackers.
– Ensure sessions are well planned and engaging.

Essential Criteria:

– Must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET) as a minimum.
– Cat 1 F Gas and Hydrocarbon Qualified.
– Level 2 and Level 3 Vocational Qualifications in Refrigeration (Air Conditioning/Heat Pump)
– Occupational experience in the field of refrigeration, heat pump or air conditioning.
– Experience of delivering training to adults
– Good level of I.T skills
– Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
– Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train learners
– Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
– Excellent presentation and communication skills.
– Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
