Multi- skilled Construction Tutor

Our client, the largest provider of training in the UK’s construction sector, is seeking an experienced Construction Trainer. The successful candidate will deliver flexible and blended training programs, specializing in Construction Theory and Health and Safety. These 2-4 week, Level 1 and 2 trade programs aim to develop practical skills and knowledge for employment in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, pre-defined curriculum content.
Complete all necessary learner and course documentation, including learner files and tracking documents.
Mentor, observe, and assess learners, providing constructive feedback.
Offer information, advice, and guidance to support learner development and progression.
Ensure compliance with company, funding, and awarding organization standards.
Assess learners’ e-portfolios to verify achievement of qualifications.

Skills and Experience:

Teaching qualification (minimum PTLLS or Level 3 AET).
Assessor award or qualification.
Level 3 qualification or equivalent occupational competence in construction industry.
Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above.
Experience in classroom-based training delivery.
Proficiency in working with diverse learner groups.
Strong IT skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude in the workplace.
