Our client is a leading provider of government-funded training, specialising in telecommunications qualifications that help adults secure sustainable employment. With a commitment to hands-on learning, they provide BTEC Level 2 and 3 courses in IT and telecoms, focusing on preparing students for careers with major infrastructure providers. They are rapidly expanding, and are looking for a lead internal verifier to join their team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Internal Verifier to oversee the internal verification process for their telecommunications portfolios. You will manage quality assurance and ensure compliance with awarding body standards. The ability to navigate OneFile and work across multiple portfolios is essential, as is the ability to quickly integrate into ongoing courses. Experience in electrical installations is a bonus, as they will expand into this area next year.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Verification: Lead the verification process for telecommunications courses, ensuring all learner portfolios meet quality and assessment standards.
OneFile Management: Effectively manage and navigate OneFile, ensuring timely verification of learner assessments.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain compliance with awarding body guidelines, ensuring excellence in course delivery.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with tutors, assessors, and curriculum developers to ensure continuous improvement.
Electrical Installations: If experienced, provide verification for electrical installations courses, supporting future course offerings.
Qualifications and Experience:
Internal Verification Expertise: Proven experience in internal verification, within the telecommunication, electrical or construction sector if you can wrap your head around telecomms.
OneFile Proficiency: Strong experience working with OneFile for managing portfolios.
Electrical Installations (Desirable): Experience in electrical installations is advantageous as the role may expand into this area in the near future.
