Salary: £11.44 per hours (plus £1.72 per hour holiday pay)

Hours: Part Time Hourly Paid – Up to 10 hours per week / 30 weeks per year
Contract Type: Temporary until 30 June 2025

All hourly paid part time staff receive pay the month following the month in which hours are worked, e.g. hours worked in November are paid at the end of December. Holiday pay is accrued and paid three times per annum, March, August and December.

The Role

With knowledge of sports and physical activity and the ability to motivate and encourage players, as well as excellent organisation and communication skills you will work with the Student Health, Well-Being & Extra Curricular Coordinator and deliver sport and well-being activity to students’ cross college. You will also help decrease the percentage of people physically inactive and increase the percentage of the college population taking part in sport and Well-Being activities, across FE & HE Students. They will work closely with the Student Health, Well -Being & Extra Curricular Coordinator and colleagues across college to affect behaviour change towards sport and well-being by developing activity programmes that suit the needs and interests of learners. Flexible working hours are essential in this role to reflect the student’s journey and the programme timetable.
