The will be a full time permanent role based in Debry & Nottingham, delivering employability and skills to unemployed adult learners, enhancing their skills and knowledge that will enable them to secure a prosperous future. The role will entail offering customised employment assistance and training to every learner in the classrooms. Develop fresh delivery modules and courses tailored to meet the specific requirements of local employers and learners.
 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and promote independent learning tools and flexible strategies to meet learning goals.
Create quality-assured lesson plans, session outlines, and resources for both classroom and employer-led courses.
Deliver top-notch teaching, learning, and assessment to inspire learners and maintain their involvement.
Innovate new course content to address changing learner needs and local job market demands.
Provide personalised one-on-one assistance to learners for their career readiness.
Offer confidential and unbiased guidance on employment and learning pathways.
Effectively manage your caseload to meet targets and maintain learner records in compliance.
Register learners for external exams, oversee exam sessions, and manage records with awarding bodies.
Ensure learners have access to current job openings and offer intensive support for job searches.
Match learners with suitable job opportunities and partnerships with the Employer Engagement Team/Job Brokers.
Maintain records of continuous professional development (CPD).
Perform any additional tasks necessary to support learners and contribute to organisational success.
 
 
Skills and Experience:
Hold a teaching or training qualification such as PTLLS, AET, CTLLS or equivalent
Prior experience delivering employability courses
Understanding of adult education/funded programmes such as AEB, Bootcamps, etc.
Proficient in preparing session plans and group delivery
Knowledge of the welfare-to-work sector and familiarity with the local labour market
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire learners
Experience working to targets and job matching clients
Vocational background in Hospitality, warehouse, care or customer service is a bonus!
