The Motor Vehicle Department is central to the priorities of Coventry College and its ambition to be the College of choice for learners and employers in the region. The department currently offers a range of programmes in this area, with Light Vehicle Maintenance programmes and Body and Paint programmes offered to school leavers up to Level 3.
The department is committed to help fill the skills shortages in the region and tap into the talent within the City, including through the expansion of its adult programmes and has recently had a significant investment into its already excellent facilities. An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dynamic individual to join the College as a Curriculum Lead in Light Vehicle Maintenance. The successful individual will be passionate about the subject and have the proven ability to inspire students.
They will be a central member of the leadership group for the department, ensuring that there is consistency of practice from all staff. They will have a range of skills that will enable them to support learners in both the practical and theoretical components of their study. They will also be able to support in maintaining the high standards expected of learners and be able to contribute to effectively to the development of the curriculum in the department.
