We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and qualified Clinical Healthcare Trainer in London on a full time, permanent contract.

As a Clinical Healthcare Trainer, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing a caseload of apprentices to ensure the delivery of a high-quality learning experience aligned with their Apprenticeship Standard at their workplace. Your role extends to providing exceptional support to both learners and employers, including those solely pursuing a Diploma.

Your duties include setting clear milestones and targets for learners, conducting monthly teaching sessions (either remotely or face-to-face), and conducting progress reviews every 10-12 weeks. This structured approach aims to facilitate their timely progression to the gateway and successful completion of their endpoint assessment.

In addition to academic guidance, you will actively support each learner’s journey in Maths and English, addressing functional skills as necessary, and providing assistance for any additional learning needs they may have.

To meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements, you will diligently ensure the completion of all necessary records.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Guide and oversee a group of learners to assist them in attaining their apprenticeship or qualifications, covering comprehensive aspects of knowledge, skills, behaviors, and any supplementary requirements such as Diplomas, guiding them through the Gateway and ensuring successful completion of the End Point Assessment.
Conduct monthly teaching and learning sessions, whether in-person or through suitable online systems and software, as an integral part of the apprenticeship program.
Monitor the completion of ‘off-the-job’ requirements to meet the mandated 20% threshold.
Ensure that all learners undergo an initial assessment and diagnostic for mathematics and English using the online platform BKSB. Subsequently, maintain a commitment to challenge and propel learners in their continuous journey toward proficiency in mathematics and English.
Provide dedicated support to learners requiring Functional Skills in mathematics and/or English at Level 1 or 2, ensuring timely completion of all elements within our 9-month learner journey, including necessary invigilation.
Cultivate professional relationships with employers and apprentices, emphasising their roles in adhering to apprenticeship funding rules and making consistent progress.
Deliver comprehensive careers information, advice, and guidance throughout the learners’ journey, enabling them to comprehend available progression routes and take appropriate steps in their careers, thereby supporting the company’s Matrix accreditation

Qualifications and Experience:
Assessors Award such as CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent
Teaching Qualification such as AET, PTLLS, CTLLS or equivalent
Hold a qualification in Clinical Healthcare from Level 2
Knowledge and experience in the delivery of apprenticeship standards including functional skills
