Job Title: Business and Management Tutor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Hertfordshire – Centre based
Salary: up to £38,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
– Ideally looking for a qualified and experienced Business / Management Tutor, but our client is open to consider trainee candidates, who are willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification at level 3 or above (Award in Education and Training).
– Ideally have experience of delivering Business programmes up to Level 3 (BTEC/NCFE).
– Must hold own a relevant Degree or hold solid occupational experience within Business Services.
– Hold own Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or GCSE equivalents.
– Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
– Teach/assess learners across Business qualifications up to Level 3 (BTEC/NCFE).
– Incorporate a range of learning strategies and utilise technology (via online, home and independent learning).
– Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
– Ensure a high level of delivery is achieved and that learners are able to realise their full potential.
– Interview and enrol learners on to the course.
– Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
– Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
– Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
