Job Title: Assistant SEND Manager

Location: Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth

Hours: Full Time – 37 hpw

Contract: Permanent – Term Time Only – 40 weeks per year

Salary: Band K – £34000.00 to £37000.00 FTE (dep on qualifications and experience) Actual £30399.00 to £33081.00

The SEND Support team here at East Coast College support over 200 students with high needs, and are looking for three Assistant SEND Managers to join them in their outstanding aspirations and goals for provision.

We want all of our students to have access to learning, and to be in an environment where their independence and aspirations can grow. As an Assistant SEND Manager, your ability to manage a team of Learning Support Assistants to meet student and timetabling needs, will ensure that the student journey is a supported and encouraged one.

What we need from you and the role;

Advocate – Share best practice and challenge delivery
Lead – a team, and contribute to future development and shape strategy
Impart – knowledge and experience of SEND, vulnerable students, OfSted
Support – staff, students, success
Teaching qualification Level 4 or above – or willingness to work towards
