Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)

Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set in six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. One hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of ‘social justice’ is more relevant than ever. We are looking to appoint an Admissions Officer to provide responsive and customer-focused service for all student enquiries and applications. In the role, you’ll have a key focus on providing Information, Advice and Guidance to enhance the student experience and encourage progression. You’ll also support the recruitment of students to the College and will be a key member of the team in helping to cover the Reception function of the college including occasional weekend working.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of dealing with a range of people with different requirements in a customer-facing role and have great organisational and administrative experience. You’ll also have strong IT skills and communication and interpersonal skills.

The right person will be someone who enjoys working at a fast pace with a variety of different tasks, who is self-managed with a strong work ethic, who has a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude and who is a completer/finisher.
