Job Title: Active Leisure Assessor – Lifeguard (Trainee or Qualified)

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training
Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across North London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas
Salary: £31,200 – £33,100 (Inclusive of location uplift) – Salary to be pro rata’d across 3 days

Type: Part Time, Permanent (3 days per week)

Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess solid experience within Active Leisure Management.
Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Essential Criteria:
– Must hold strong occupational competency within Active Leisure as a General/Fitness Manager or Head of Department – couple with poolside experience (water testing).
– Must hold poolside experience (water testing).
– Must hold the following qualifications as a minimum: Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction and Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training.
– Confidence to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
– Must be IT literate.
– Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
– Delivering full Apprenticeship qualifications in Active Leisure up to Level 3.
– Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
– Delivering Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
– Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
