QA Group appoints BT’s Chief Customer Officer Lisa Harrington as Managing Director of its Learning Division
QA Group, the UK’s leading IT and business skills training and education provider, today (15 Mar) announced that Lisa Harrington has joined as Managing Director of the Learning Division.
Harrington joins from BT where she was Chief Customer Officer for the Group, responsible for Customer Experience. Having started her career at Accenture, where she spent ten years, Harrington had a series of roles running different parts of the BT business including BT Wholesale.
Harrington’s appointment is the most recent senior addition to the QA Group following the announcement in November 2017 that Sir Charlie Mayfield, Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership (“JLP”), had joined the QA Group Board as Non-Executive Chairman.
William Macpherson, Chief Executive Officer of QA Group, said: “I am looking forward to welcoming Lisa to the QA Learning division. QA has experienced considerable growth and success over the last ten years, rapidly expanding to become the UK’s leading IT education and skills provider. Lisa brings with her years of relevant experience in working to ensure that customer experience is seamless. She combines being a renowned people manager with a real understanding of customers and deep technical experience. I think Lisa will be a very valuable addition to QA Group and am delighted she will be heading up such a central part of our portfolio, the Learning Division.”
Commenting on her appointment, Harrington said: “The QA Learning division is the UK’s leading business and IT training company. I have always been fascinated by the customer experience and this is especially important in the learning environment.
