Niko appointed as International Director at Activate Learning
Former Group Operations Director for BSC Group, Niko Phillips, has been announced as the new Group Director – International at Activate Learning.
Niko has a background in international education, with sixteen years’ experience working as a teacher, trainer, academic director and school leader across geographical locations including South East Asia, Africa and Europe.
He was most recently Group Operations Director for the BSC Group of schools where he was focussed on international business development, quality assurance, safeguarding, and developing the use of technology in schools.
Speaking about his new role, Niko said: “I am very excited to be taking up this role with Activate Learning, as we seek to continue developing a strong international presence. Activate Learning’s growing reputation, together with our unique learning philosophy, means that we have an unrivalled opportunity to transform lives through learning in an international arena.”
Activate Learning, which operates across Oxfordshire, the Thames Valley and overseas, now comprises three UK further education colleges, four schools, two apprenticeship and training providers and four colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
