New Associate Dean for Imperial College Business School

Leila Guerra as the new Associate Dean of Programmes, Imperial College Business School

Imperial College Business School has appointed Leila Guerra as the new Associate Dean of Programmes, from 15 March 2018.

Guerra currently serves as Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Programmes at Singapore Management University’s (SMU) Lee Kong Chian Business School, overseeing marketing, recruitment & admissions, programme management, operations & systems, and career services for over 1,000 students.

Prior to this, Guerra served as Executive Director for Early Career Programmes at London Business School, and as Director of Innovation at IE Business School in Madrid, from which she also holds an Executive MBA.

Ms Guerra said:  “I’m thrilled to join a school synonymous with innovation, which offers a huge number of opportunities through being part of one of the world’s leading STEM institutions.

“I look forward to leading Imperial’s suite of internationally-respected business and management programmes, helping to ensure they continue to serve the needs of the global business community in a rapidly-changing world.”

Guerra specializes in business development, product innovation and strategy development. Her experience includes redesigning the structure of the IE’s master’s programmes, which now feature highly across international rankings, and overseeing the launch of London Business School’s Masters in Financial Analysis.

Guerra is Spanish national who has lived in eight different countries and speaks four languages (English, German, Portuguese and Spanish).

As well as an EMBA, she also holds an MSc in International Business from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
