Alistair Jarvis appointed as the University of London’s Pro Vice-Chancellor of Partnerships and Governance
Alistair Jarvis (@AlistairJarvis) has been appointed as the University of London’s (@UoLondon) new Pro Vice-Chancellor of Partnerships and Governance
Alistair Jarvis was appointed Chief Executive of Universities UK in 2017. He has been a member of the senior management team at UUK since 2013, previously as Deputy Chief Executive and Director of External Relations. Before joining UUK, he was a Director at the University of Birmingham and has previously held communications, campaigning and political relations roles for national organisations in both the public and private sectors.
Professor Wendy Thomson, Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Alistair to the senior team of the University of London. His wealth of experience and the high regard with which he is held in the sector make him an outstanding appointment to this position. The role is key to the continuing delivery of our strategy, combining an external focus on partnerships and policy, with that of governance in his capacity as University Secretary. I am excited to work with Alistair.”

Alistair will continue in his role at UUK during his notice period and will join the University of London in June 2022.
