This dynamic, high quality session will provide professionals with an up-to-date CPD experience. Areas of focus from the ‘Prevent Duty 2023’ and ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2023)’.
Objectives
This webinar will:
- Review the national strategy CONTEST and Prevent Duty updates;
- Explore reality of the current threat;
- Identify factors of Radicalisation and influential factors;
- Explore the National Ideological context;
- Review implementation of the legal due regard for preventing terrorism;
- Understand how and when to make a Prevent referral;
- Discuss how to build pupil resiliency through British values.
Target Audience
This webinar is designed to support all providers of post 16 education and training provision including:
- All staff in the Further Education Sector;
- Those with Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities;
- Those with Prevent lead responsibilities;
